You’ll apply on Apryse’s own site.
The Role:
We’re hiring a Spanish-speaking Solutions Engineer to help prospects and customers evaluate, test and implement Apryse’s document SDKs inside their own products and infrastructure. You’ll be the technical voice in the sales cycle: running demos, scoping requirements, debugging customer code and feeding what you learn back to our product engineering team. You’ll work across both client-side and server-side use cases, helping customers understand how Apryse technology fits into their applications, services and document-processing workflows. While the role is primarily remote, you’ll also occasionally work with customers on-site where this helps with technical evaluations, implementation workshops or key customer engagements.
This suits a developer who enjoys deep, varied customer conversations and wants to use their technical background to solve real customer problems.
What you’ll do:
-
Run product demos and support trial installs and beta implementations of the Apryse SDKs.
-
Work with prospects by email and on calls to uncover their technical pain points and scope requirements: features, platforms, deployment environments, document-processing workflows and file formats.
-
Help customers evaluate client-side and server-side SDK architectures, including how document processing fits into their applications, APIs and backend services.
-
Occasionally travel to customer sites to support technical workshops, evaluations and implementation discussions.
-
Partner with sales and product engineering to propose solutions that fit the customer and make sense commercially.
-
Debug customer application code and guide implementations.
-
Own technical support tickets through the pre-sales process and flag risks to the sales team early.
-
Share customer feedback with product engineering to shape the roadmap, and keep up with competitors and document standards.
What you’ll bring:
-
Fluent Spanish (C1 or native) and professional English, written and spoken.
-
Hands-on development experience in modern web technologies: JavaScript or TypeScript, React or Angular, REST APIs and JSON. Experience with mobile (Android or iOS) or .NET is a plus.
-
Comfort working with server-side applications, APIs and deployment environments. Experience with .NET, Java, Linux, Docker or cloud infrastructure would be particularly useful.
-
Experience working directly with customers on technical issues: solutions engineering, integration, support engineering or consulting.
-
Comfort working directly with customers both remotely and, when required, on-site.
-
A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-
A GitHub profile, technical writing or similar evidence of building and debugging complex systems.
-
Clear communication, strong problem-solving and the discipline to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
You don’t need to tick every box. We welcome non-traditional backgrounds.
Nice to have:
-
Knowledge of document formats and processing, especially PDF, plus interest in computer graphics, image compression or AI.
-
Experience with server-side document workflows such as conversion, content extraction, OCR, rendering or automated document processing.
-
Experience with containers, cloud deployments or backend application architectures.
-
Experience supporting a Spanish-speaking customer base, in Spain or Latin America.
-
Pre-sales or sales-engineering exposure, including demos and technical evaluations.
-
Italian at B2 level or above would be particularly valuable, enabling you to support technical customer conversations in the Italian market.
