Accessibility

Everyone should be able to find work and hire on Joblentra, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification, or voice control.

Our commitment

We build towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is part of our design system rather than a per-page afterthought: the same labelled forms, focus states, and colour tokens are used across job search, applications, and hiring tools.

What is in place today

  • A skip to content link on every page, visible when you tab to it.
  • Colour combinations tested automatically against the AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for text) in every theme.
  • Forms with proper labels, instructions, and errors announced to assistive technology.
  • Visible focus indicators, and full keyboard operation of navigation, dialogs, and menus.
  • Respect for reduced motion preferences, and pages that work at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • Automated accessibility checks (axe) running in our build pipeline on key pages such as sign-in and sign-up.

Known limitations

  • We are still completing manual testing with screen readers (such as NVDA and VoiceOver) across the full application, so some complex screens may have rough edges we have not found yet.
  • Documents you upload, such as CVs, are only as accessible as the file provided.
  • The jobs map relies on a third-party mapping library and may be harder to use with some assistive technology. Every job on the map is also available in the standard list.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of Joblentra is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Use the support form (choose Accessibility), or email support@joblentra.com, describing the page and the assistive technology you use. We treat accessibility barriers as bugs and prioritise them accordingly.
