About HouseQuant
HouseQuant is the AI-native workbench for advanced numerical methods in Real Estate. We compile millions of parcels into a live spatial model, run numerical methods over it, and surface deep insights to investors that others miss. The product is in a closed beta with real users, and this role owns the compute layer from first principles.

What you’ll do

• Build and ship features end-to-end
• Develop interactive map features
• Extend underwriting tools: financial models, data pipelines, and document extraction
• Review and harden existing features and maintain tests

Requirements

• Own features end-to-end: design, build, ship, and operate them in production
• Build interactive 3D map surfaces over millions of parcels: rendering, spatial queries, and sub-second interaction at scale
• Extend the underwriting engine: cash-flow and IRR models, numerical optimization, data pipelines, and document extraction
• Harden the system: profiling, correctness tests, and performance work on the paths that matter
• Alternate, louder version if you want the scope to read bigger:
• Own entire surfaces, not tickets: scope, architecture, ship, and on-call
• Build real-time 3D mapping over millions of parcels, from tile pipeline to interaction
• Extend application services with new numerical methods, models, and extraction pipelines
• Set the quality bar: correctness tests, benchmarks, and performance budgets

Strong pluses

• Experience with WebGL or browser rendering, ideally for mapping or large-scale spatial visualization
• Geospatial data experience: spatial indexing, coordinate systems, vector tiles
• Experience using AI coding tools productively and critically
• Data engineering experience: scraping, pipelines, ETL
• Real estate or financial modeling
