As a FP&A Business Partner at Faculty, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and strategic decision-making that underpins our continued growth.
Partnering closely with senior leaders and teams across the business, you will provide the financial insight, analysis, and modelling needed to support both UK and international growth. You will help shape our approach to planning and performance management, building robust financial models, evaluating opportunities and enabling informed decision-making across a wide range of future scenarios.
This is a highly commercial and collaborative role, with the opportunity to work across different areas of Faculty and help us understand the financial implications of the decisions we make as we scale.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead financial modelling, scenario planning, and strategic analysis to support business growth, identify risks, and evaluate UK and international opportunities.

• Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial, delivery, operational, and other teams to provide financial insight and challenge that informs key business decisions.

• Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting, translating operational and commercial drivers into clear financial outcomes.

• Analyse pricing, customer and project profitability, and commercial performance to identify opportunities for sustainable and profitable growth.

• Monitor key business and financial metrics, identifying trends and delivering actionable recommendations to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability.

Who we’re looking for

• Highly analytical, with strong financial modelling and problem-solving skills.

• Adept at tackling complex and ambiguous problems, turning data into clear, practical recommendations.

• Strategic thinker who challenges assumptions and brings fresh ideas to the table.

• Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how financial and operational decisions drive business performance.

• Strong business partner capable of building trusted relationships and communicating complex financial concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

• Comfortable working across different parts of a growing business while successfully balancing multiple priorities.

• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and take ownership of delivering high-impact work.

• Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or possess equivalent experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a related analytical role.

Our Interview Process

• Talent Team Screen (30 mins)

• Introduction Call with Hiring Manager (30 mins)

• Case Study Interview (45 mins)

• Meet with the Team (60 mins)

Our Recruitment Ethos

We aim to grow the best team - not the most similar one. We know that diversity of individuals fosters diversity of thought, and that strengthens our principle of seeking truth. And we know from experience that diverse teams deliver better work, relevant to the world in which we live. We’re united by a deep intellectual curiosity and desire to use our abilities for measurable positive impact. We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, religions and sexual orientations.

If you don’t feel you meet all the requirements, but are excited by the role and know you bring some key strengths, please don’t hesitate in applying as you might be right for this role, or other roles. We are open to conversations about part-time hours.

A note on AI: we’re happy for you to use it for research and interview prep, but please don’t use it to generate answers during live interviews. We also use an AI note-taker (Metaview) in interviews so interviewers can stay present (which you can opt out of just let us know,) and every application is reviewed by a human, never decided by AI.
