About the Role
Join an early-stage AI company as its first go-to-market hire, owning both prospecting and closing initial enterprise deals. This hands-on individual contributor role will help shape the sales motion through customer discovery, pilots, and close collaboration with the product team.
What You’ll Do

• Identify promising buyer personas and market segments for the product.

• Build outbound campaigns from the ground up, including prospect lists, email sequences, and channel experiments.

• Test sales tactics, evaluate results, and focus effort on what generates pipeline.

• Source and close enterprise deals, defining success criteria with prospective customers.

• Run customer proofs of concept independently, from scoping through decision.

• Speak with users of the company’s AI agents to understand workflows and needs.

• Share customer feedback and objections with the product team to inform priorities.

• Manage a sales budget and take ownership of pipeline and closing targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in enterprise sales, with a record of personally sourcing and closing deals while exceeding quota.

• Ability to qualify prospects by quickly understanding their business models, financial metrics, and potential ROI.

• Experience independently running customer proofs of concept.

• Fluency with modern go-to-market tools and building custom sales workflows or automation.

• Strong writing and communication skills for technical and financial audiences.

• Resourcefulness in reaching decision-makers when standard outreach is ineffective, and comfort adapting based on results.

• Interest in AI agents and how they may change enterprise work; early-stage startup, founder, or competitive athletic experience is relevant.

• Individual contributor role suited to a self-directed, collaborative seller who enjoys solving new problems.

Compensation & Benefits
