Job: You will build Parallel’s deal desk and be a core member of the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategic Finance team. You’ll build up this function from the ground up and own how we price, structure, and close deals including many complex strategic enterprise and distribution deals (think clouds, neo-clouds, labs, neo-labs, hyper-scalers and others). Every non-standard “deal” runs through you. You’ll stand up approval matrices, quoting workflows, and a clear path for non-standard terms that keep pace with the high-growth AI Native and Enterprise teams. You’ll work live deals with sales leadership, account executives and decide when to hold firm and when to bend, inside the pricing and margin guardrails set with GTM Strategic Finance. You’ll partner with legal on contract terms and with accounting so every deal books cleanly and bills correctly. You’re accountable for deal velocity, terms discipline, and making sure what we sign is something we can deliver.

You: You’ve run a deal desk at a high growth software or infrastructure company with consumption or committed-spend pricing. You’ve structured strategic deals, ramp deals, prepaid commitments, and multi-year contracts, and you know where the risk sits in each. You understand how deal terms affect revenue recognition, billing, and margin. You’ve used AI tools to do real work faster, and you’re eager to find new ways to apply them. You take ownership without being asked, flag problems early, and want to grow into a GTM finance leader at Parallel.
