About the role
Devsu builds custom software and delivers digital transformation solutions for companies across the United States and Latin America. With a team spanning more than 18 countries, we drive innovation through high-impact technology solutions.
We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist – SEO / AEO to lead our content strategy, strengthen Devsu’s organic visibility, and turn our technical expertise into valuable content for B2B audiences.
In this role, you will develop research-backed content, lead SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives, improve our visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines, and turn organic reach into business opportunities. We are looking for a strategic, self-directed specialist with excellent English writing skills and experience connecting content marketing to measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute research-backed content initiatives, including industry surveys, original research, and flagship reports that can be repurposed into articles, social media content, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials.
- Own SEO and AEO strategy and execution, improving organic visibility and increasing Devsu’s mentions and citations across search engines and AI-powered answer engines.
- Write and optimize website content, landing pages, and email campaigns with a strong focus on conversion.
- Build and grow organic communities on LinkedIn, Reddit, and other relevant channels to generate qualified leads.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research and content production while ensuring factual accuracy, editorial quality, consistency, and brand voice.
- Analyze content and channel performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools.
- Set editorial priorities based on performance data, continuously optimizing content initiatives and discontinuing those that fail to deliver results.
- Track key performance indicators, including organic visibility, qualified traffic, AI answer-engine mentions and citations, marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), pipeline contribution, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and paid media teams to amplify content reach and repurpose assets across channels.
Requirements
- C1/C2-level English writing proficiency and a portfolio of published work, ideally in B2B, technology, or developer-focused environments.
- 4+ years of experience in content marketing, with demonstrated ownership of strategy rather than execution alone.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of technical and on-page SEO, with hands-on experience using tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, and Google Search Console.
- Demonstrated experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including a clear understanding of strategies to improve visibility and earn mentions or citations in AI-powered answer engines.
- Proficiency in AI content tools for research and production, supported by a clear human-in-the-loop process for fact-checking, editing, and quality control.
- Strong analytics skills, including GA4 and Google Search Console, with the ability to connect content performance to funnel outcomes such as MQLs and pipeline.
- Experience building organic audiences and communities across digital channels to support lead generation.
- Ability to independently manage an editorial calendar, prioritize initiatives, and maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Excellent research, writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to create content for technical and executive audiences.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the U.S. financial services industry and technologies such as core banking platforms, APIs, and integration layers.
- Experience designing surveys, conducting original research, or interviewing internal subject matter experts and customers to develop specialized content.
- Experience with email marketing and automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or similar tools.
- Experience in executive ghostwriting, thought leadership, and content development for Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies.
- Basic multimedia production skills and experience collaborating with designers to adapt content for different formats.
- Previous experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or marketing complex technology solutions.
