PAI Partners, established in 1998, is a leading private equity firm headquartered in Paris, France, with origins dating back to 1872 as Paribas Affaires Industrielles. We focus on acquiring majority stakes in mid to large-sized companies that are leaders in their respective sectors, including business services, food and consumer goods, general industrials, healthcare, and retail. Our investment strategy is centred on the real economy, partnering with companies to drive sustainable growth and long-term value creation. We place particular emphasis on building strong partnerships with high-quality management teams. PAI operates from offices in Paris, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Stockholm, and New York.

As an intern you will analyse and evaluate potential investment opportunities, support the execution of live transactions and monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies. You will primarily work with investment professionals in the Munich office, while also collaborating with colleagues across different teams and geographies.
We are seeking proactive and highly motivated candidates with prior relevant experience (minimum one 3-months internship in investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity at a recognised institution), a strong academic track record, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a strong willingness to learn, analytical rigour and attention to detail, as well as commitment, reliability and a hands-on mindset.
