About the role

About Zurge
Zurge LLC is a US-based Growth Partner helping businesses accelerate growth through strategy, demand generation, performance marketing, business development, and continuous optimization.
We combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to build measurable, scalable, and repeatable growth systems.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Specialist with a proven track record of generating and developing B2B sales opportunities in the US market.
This is a hands-on role focused on strategic prospecting, cold calling, consultative discovery, and sales pipeline development.
You will work alongside our Growth team to identify high-potential accounts, engage decision-makers, uncover business challenges, and turn conversations into qualified commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and prioritize target accounts based on defined Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
• Identify and engage Directors, VPs, and C-level executives at US companies.
• Execute outbound prospecting through cold calling, personalized emails, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges, priorities, and potential opportunities.
• Qualify prospects based on business fit, needs, urgency, and commercial potential.
• Develop and manage opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.
• Coordinate follow-ups, technical discovery meetings, and commercial next steps.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure consistent pipeline management.
• Collaborate with Growth Strategists to improve targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies.
• Track prospecting performance, conversion rates, and opportunity progression.
• Provide weekly reports on qualified conversations, meetings, opportunities, and next steps.
  What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means consistently generating meaningful conversations with qualified decision-makers and developing those conversations into real commercial opportunities.
Performance will be measured through qualified accounts engaged, meaningful conversations generated, discovery meetings completed, commercial opportunities created, pipeline progression, and follow-up effectiveness.
We value commercial impact, consistent execution, and measurable results over activity volume alone.

Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in B2B business development, outbound sales, or technology sales.
• Proven experience prospecting and engaging US-based companies.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent), both spoken and written.
• Demonstrated cold-calling experience with senior business decision-makers.
• Experience selling B2B technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or complex business solutions.
• Strong consultative selling, discovery, and opportunity qualification skills.
• Experience independently generating and developing qualified commercial opportunities.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar prospecting tools.
• Strong organizational skills, ownership, and ability to work independently.
• Proven track record of achieving measurable business development results.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, APIs, AI, or emerging technologies.
• Experience selling into regulated industries.
• Familiarity with account-based prospecting and multichannel outbound strategies.
• Experience supporting technical evaluations, pilot programs, or complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Previous experience working with US startups or growth-stage companies.
• Familiarity with sales automation and AI-powered prospecting tools.

What We Offer

• Fully remote position, open to candidates across Latin America.
• Full-time collaboration aligned with US business hours.
• Opportunity to work with US-based companies and B2B technology projects.
• Collaboration with an experienced Growth team.
• Monthly compensation of USD $1,300–$2,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-based incentives.
• Long-term professional collaboration.
