About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we’re looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce’s core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Our Sales Development team is comprised of Business Development Representatives (BDR) and Sales Representatives (SR).  SR’s manage inbound leads while BDR’s (the more senior of the two roles) focus on outbound lead generation.  This opening is for BDR.  We are currently seeking high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance through a clearly defined learning and earning path.

Salesforce offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources and outstanding leadership to sell business application solutions and take your career to the next level!

The Experience

This BDR will be selling into the Malaysia region, therefore, prior experience having working in, or with this geo-location is highly desired.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you are often the first point of contact for prospective clients. Responsible for generating new business, sourcing, developing and qualifying opportunities through strategic, targeted outreach and working in partnership with our Sales and Marketing team. Our BDR team is the fuel to our revenue engine, and critical to our growth as an organisation.

Curiosity will serve you well as you work with our partners to find the solution to fit our customer’s individual needs in what is a complex, innovative environment. Sounds daunting, right? But don’t worry, we are invested in your success, and your future, and will enable you with the training and knowledge to be successful, under the guidance of our leaders, your peers and our extended teams.

As this is a sales role, metrics of success are measured on a monthly quota of qualified sourced opportunities and team-closed business; being a self-starter and motivated by a goal will support your success.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales Pipeline for our products across our Enterprise Accounts
• Create and prioritise strategic target account lists within Malaysia
• Research and build “cold accounts” (i.e.: adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling) and conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets/quotas.

You’re Our Person If…

• Experience, familiarity working within the Malaysia market
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu to converse with clients in the Malaysia market
• Experience prospecting and cold calling (highly regarded)
• Consistent achievement of target or critical metrics

Even Better If You’re…

• Evangelize Salesforce and the On-Demand model

To get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.
